A Complete Flag Source

A Complete Flag Source INC. started in a small ice plant called Jac Mac Ice Plant Co. Owned and operated by Jack McIntyre with the help of his sons. Eventually the family decided to sell the ice business and in that moment Jim McIntyre bought the fledgling flag store from his brother. At the time A Complete Flag Source had around 60 loyal customers, Mr. McIntyre was able to keep his complete stock in the back of his pick up truck, and as the business slowly grew Mr. McIntyre had to start keeping his stock in closets at family members homes. Jim built the business up with hard work and dedication, making 100's of phone calls to businesses and governments entities alike,  he would drive to a small town and find stores and farms with flagpoles and he would just go talk with them. Business was slow, Mr. McIntyre began to question his decision to buy the fledging flag company, then 9/11/2001 happened, store fronts everywhere were sold out of American Flags, people began searching the yellow pages where they found Mr. McIntyres home based business, he sold out of his entire stock. The tragedy of 9/11 was the turn around point for the store, Mr. McIntyre was able to buy a store front, causing business to surge. Not only did the business surge but Mr. McIntyres patriotism grew even stronger, vowing to only sell American Made US Flags and becoming part of NIFDA.

Today the store puts flagpoles up all over the country, supplying citizens, businesses and government entities alike.
